Plasma-assisted combustion is a fast-growing field with many theoretical advances and progress toward practical applications in recent years. The Symposium will provide plasma-assisted combustion researchers a unique forum to share their latest work, identify knowledge gaps, and establish collaborative research programs.
The sessions will cover the following topics in plasma-assisted combustion:
- Flame stabilization
- Thermoacoustic instability control
- Pollutant emission reductions
- Ignition enhancement
- Supersonic combustion
- Diagnostics
- Kinetics
- Models and numerical simulations
The Symposium will feature a series of 15-20 minutes oral presentations. Participants are invited to submit a one-page abstract describing their latest relevant research.
